Parks in Taunton:

Vivary Park Taunton - Off Mount Street in Taunton Deane (south of the A38). Attractive park, the largest in Taunton, it is open from about 7.30 in the morning until dusk.

Victoria Park Taunton - A large park in the Priory Ward area of the town, it was Taunton's first park when opened in 1892, at which time it was called Victoria Recreation Ground. Victoria Park Taunton has lots of sports facilities including football pitches, changing rooms, hard court games, pavilion and children's playground. It can be accessed from Priory Avenue or even better from Cranmer Road, where there is a small car park.

Taunton Green Park - Accessed from Cheddon Road and Hope Corner Lane, Taunton Green Park has tennis courts (hard courts), basketball, and multi-sports facility.

Taunton in Somerset can be accessed by road via the M5, the A38 and the A358, it is 6.5 miles from Wellington and 11 miles from Bridgwater.
