St Ives is a small seaside town located to the north of Penzance in Cornwall, it has a population of around 11,000, and has been traditionally a fishing town, though now relies heavily on tourism. St Ives gets its name from the Irish Saint who arrived there during the 5th century.
St Ives can be reached via the A3074 or the B3311, both are connected to the main A30 road, Penzance is 8 miles away and Hayle is 5.5 miles.
