A small market town located to the south-east of Leicester in Leicestershire, Market Harborough is close to the counties border with Northamptonshire, it has a population of around 20,000 and a history going back to Saxon times, though at that time was actually the 3 villages of Great Bowden, Little Bowden and Arden, the Manor of Harborough being first recorded during the 12th century. Features of Market Harborough are the Old Grammar School and the 13th century St Dionysius parish church.
